(Presque Isle) Consumers for
Affordable Health Care (CAHC) will be providing a
free MaineCare Eligibility workshop in Presque Isle at
the Presque Isle City Hall Council Chambers, 12 Second
Street, on July 15th from 9am to 12pm.

CAHC holds several workshops throughout the course of the
year to educate providers, caseworkers, and others working with
people in need of health care or
coverage. Many professionals come to at least one workshop a
year to hear about the latest changes to MaineCare or to discover any
new programs that may have arisen.
This half-day workshop is focused on MaineCare eligibility
for children, pregnant women, parents, young adults, and adults who are
not disabled or elderly. Our full-day workshops include
additional information on eligibility for disability-related MaineCare.
We will provide attendees with the tools to offer
information and application assistance to patients and consumers
seeking health care coverage. Updates
on MaineCare, non-insurance assistance programs, health care reform,
and private insurance will also be discussed.
