parents enrolled in MaineCare from 200% to 133%
of the federal poverty level (FPL).
- It
eliminates MaineCare coverage for adults without
children living under the FPL.

budget would also eliminate or substantially
reduce assistance for Medicare Part B premiums,
Part D premiums, certain copayments and
deductibles; and coverage through the "donut
hole" for certain seniors and people with
disabilities.
- Proposes
doubling the time period allowed to determine a
disability for MaineCare from 45 days to 90
days.
Make Further
Cuts to Other Health Care Coverage
Options
- The
proposed budget would reduce funding for
DirigoChoice subsidies, the MaineCare parents
covered by Dirigo, administration of the
program, and the Maine Quality Forum.
