ALERT -- Sept. 30, 2010
We recently
learned that some consumers have been told that
they cannot purchase new individual health
insurance policies from Anthem. INDIVIDUALS
WISHING TO PURCHASE INDIVIDUAL COVERAGE FROM
ANTHEM MAY DO SO BY PHONE OR BY USING A PAPER
APPLICATION. If you have been told that you could
not purchase a new health insurance policy from
Anthem, please contact the Bureau of Insurance
(1-800-300-5000), your insurance agent, or Anthem
at 1-800-585-0099. The Bureau is working
with Anthem to ensure that anyone who wants to buy
a policy is properly
enrolled.
