Health Clinic Programs

Sliding Scale Clinics & Free Clinics
Maine's community health centers provide high quality, comprehensive primary health care for individuals and families, regardless of their ability to pay. Fees are on a "sliding-scale" and depend on your household income.

Maine Free Clinics are a vitally important resource for uninsured people in need of basic medical services. Some clinics are only open to walk ins at certain times.

Click here for a list of Sliding-Scale Clinics and Free Clinics in Maine.

In addition, many hospitals in Maine work with affiliated health centers that provide free or sliding-scale primary and preventive care to people who qualify for their program. For more information, check with your local hospital or go to our Hospital Programs page.
