Dental Help

MaineCare covers regular dental services for children. For pregnant women, parents, disabled or elderly adults or other adults, MaineCare only covers "emergency" dental.

If you can't get MaineCare, and you need affordable dental care, there are dental clinics and resources that could help. Some dental clinics provide care on a "sliding scale" basis to people without dental coverage. Sometimes these "sliding scale" dental clinics only take patients that live in the county or region where they are located. Other rules may apply. You should call a clinic directly to find out if you might be able to use their services.
