Helping
families find quality health care in Maine.
Our toll-free Health
Care HelpLine can help families, other
adults, and businesses get health insurance through
the state's MaineCare program, the new DirigoChoice
program, as well as helping to identify other assistance
resources. Our Health
Law Project can also help you review options
for affordable insurance.
Providing
training and education to consumers and policy makers.
CAHC
Foundation provides training and education to community-based
organizations, businesses, consumers, and policy makers
about MaineCare, DirigoChoice coverage, and other
topics related to health care, and trains health care
consumers to be effective advocates. Please contact
us if you are interested in a training
for your organization.
Producing
research and policy analysis.
All
of CAHC Foundation's research and policy analysis
is focused on how health policy impacts individual
health care consumers. CAHC Foundation also provides
input to state agencies such as the Department of
Health and Human Services and the Bureau of Insurance
on behalf of consumers through the rulemaking process
and participation in various committees.
