are some resources that advocates may want to utilize
in advocating for themselves or their clients.
Welcome
to PrimeCare is a guide published by HealthWorks
for MaineCare and Cub Care participants to help them
understand how PrimeCare works.
Chapter
Five of the MaineCare
Assistance Manual, governing Maine PrimeCare
is online on the Secretary of State's web site. WARNING:
These are administrative rules and some sections may
be confusing or even misleading to a lay-person unfamiliar
with MaineCare jargon.
The
other chapters of the MaineCare
Assistance Manual are also online. It contains
all the rules that govern the administration of the
MaineCare Program (except for eligibility rules).
In it you can find detailed explanations of covered
services as well as client rights and responsibilities.

information on the MaineCare program. Their Frequently
Asked Questions page is particularly useful.

of Policy and Programs also has some useful
information about MaineCare services on their web

Eligibility Manual
on its web site. This is the manual that DHS caseworkers
use to determine applicant's eligibility for MaineCare
