SINCE 1988, Consumers for Affordable Health Care has led the fight for affordable health care in Maine.

Giving consumers a voice . . .
We exist to ensure that health care consumers have a strong voice in health care matters.

Expanding access to health coverage . . .
Our advocacy efforts focus on expanding coverage to the uninsured and underinsured and on improving the quality of health care for those who are insured through initiatives such as the Patients' Bill of Rights.

Maine's largest coalition . . .
We are the largest consumer coalition in Maine. Our over eighty members represent thousands of health care consumers throughout the state. Member organizations include businesses, non-profits, unions, health care providers, associations, and faith-based organizations. We bring these varied organizations together with grassroots activists to fight for affordable, quality health care for all Maine citizens.
