Consumers for Affordable Health Care Foundation today announced the publication of a guide to assist Maine people in obtaining affordable health care. The 32-page booklet, entitled Navigating Maine's Health Care System: A Handbook, contains information on Maine's public and private health insurance options as well as state and local resources to help uninsured Mainers obtain affordable care.

Free copies of the guide (up to five) are available from Consumers for Affordable Health Care by calling at 1-800-838-0388. There is a charge for organizations seeking bulk quantities, although donations are granted on a case-by-case basis. The guide can also be viewed or downloaded from CAHC's website at no charge at www.mainecahc.org/healthcare/.
